Governor Linda Lee Address State Senate On Passage Of 2025 Executive Budget

October 4, 2024 - Thank you ladies and gentleman for welcoming back to this incredible Senate. Today we learned that you all passed, with incredible support and speed, the 2025 State Executive Budget and I just wanted to thank you all for your hard work and dedication to get this budget passed.

I know everyone is this room has worked hard to get it passed. There is so much we will be able to accomplish this year with this budget. This budget will allow us to expand outdated infrastructure, invest in further housing for mainland North Lorray, invest in more business, and ensure that we have the tools necessary to deal with crime. We are investing over 52.6 million in drug and weapon smuggling prevention and intervention task forces.

We are also investing over 2.6 billion dollars to expand the Nox City International Airport and over 9.6 billion dollars to build over 2,560 miles of roadway. We are invested in providing more programs for the LBGTQ community, and we have more to accomplish here in Nox City.

The State Of North Lorray is committing, as many of you know, over 2 billion dollars to invest in our existing ports and advancing modern technology implementation into port security, logistics and scanning technologies. We are proud of the work we have been able to accomplish, with you, the members of this great Senate.

We look forward to working even further with you all as we head into our State's storm season. There is much more that we will agree and disagree on, but I hope that we are able to accomplish our administrative agenda in this term.

God bless you all. Have a great weekend.
